I am just starting to research my grandfather's service in the Navy in WWII. I'm interested in corresponding with any Porterfield sailors who remember him. His name is Carlton R. Todd and he served as COMDESRON 55 embarked on Porterfield from Jan - Nov '44. Also, I would be interested in any advice on obtaining records from the Porterfield or DESRON 55 activities during 1944. Thanks for your help. Kind Regards, Carlton Todd If you have any information concerning the above request Please use the email address below. Thank you, Carlton Todd: carltontodd@hotmail.com |
